This week is going to be great. I am visiting my daughter in Virginia for a portion of it and we have already planned our meals for the visit. I didn’t get around to making everything from last week due to leftovers lasting longer than expected so I am making a bit of things from last weeks menu.
Sunday- Bacon wrapped beef- recipe to follow if we like it.
Monday- leftover ribs from last week using this recipe.

Um you won’t have time to get here since you are living in beautiful Oregon. You do need to live closer. We could sit and knit together in our old age once we have trapped the cat. haha

I can knit … well, it’s been a while, but I’m not getting anywhere near that cat.

Oh I must get you readdicted to knitting. Have you checked out http://www.ravelry.com yet? They have soooooooooooo many beautiful patterns. I am addicted to knitting, finding patterns and buying yarn. There are so many luxurious yarns out there to try. I want to try something using lace yarn next.

Right now I don’t need any more reasons to sit on my derrière … I need to get up and move. I’m planning some rock hunting field trips with my friend Bonnie.

Are you looking for a certain type of rock? Have you considered Geocaching? It is a blast.
