This is so good. I took it to a women’s luncheon a few months ago. I was the only person there dieting and eating sugar-free foods. Everyone loved this. They said that they could not tell the difference between regular Strawberry Shortcake and this low carb version.
For the cake portion of the shortcake use this recipe.
I sliced fresh strawberries, sprinkled some Splenda on top and then poured on top of the Almond Pound Cake. Topped with heavy whipping cream and I had a very low carb dessert.
