Mike and I loved these but of course he skipped the onions and mushrooms. 🙂
Creole Seasoning Burgers with Sauteed Onions and Mushrooms
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 1/2 teaspoons creole seasoning, divided
- 4 slices Monterey Jack Cheese
- 1 medium onion
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
In a bowl mix ground beef and 2 teaspoons creole seasoning. Form into 4 patties and grill over hot coals until done to your liking. Top with cheese.
In a saute pan heat the olive oil until hot and add sliced onions and cook until soft. Then add the sliced mushrooms and cook until both are cooked completely. Add 1/2 teaspoon creole seasoning and mix well. Top burgers with onions and mushrooms and serve hot. Serves 4.
