Blackberry Pecan Creme Brulee’

I made this Sunday and it was very good. I used the Butter Pecan Creme Brulee’ recipe and changed the topping a bit. I had it with Chicken and Dumplings. It made the perfect comfort food meal for me.

Blackberry Pecan Creme Brulee’

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup Splenda
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla

Prepare according to the directions from my friend Jill’s blog over at Heart of a Country Home. 


Melt butter in small saucepan and add pecans. Stir until heated and add blackberries and Splenda. Heat until bubbly and remove from heat and set aside to cool 10 minutes. Top each bowl of Creme Brulee’ and put in refrigerator another 2 hours. Serves 4.
