Thanksgiving Day Meal Suggestions

I am reposting a list of food items that I posted last year to try to help everyone stay on track with eating low carb. The meal doesn’t have to be stressful. There are many meal options that will satisfy your traditional meal items but still be healthy for you.

With the holiday only a few days away I thought I would offer some suggestions to feed the masses and still stay on target for eating low carb. The holidays are not an excuse to go overboard. The holidays are really about being thankful and spending time with those that you love.  Now I know that you aren’t going to stop having the holiday dinner just because you are a Diabetic but lets look at possible options for mealtime.

These suggestions should keep you on track and happy during the holiday season whether you serve turkey or ham. Mike has requested turkey this year so we will be having that. I am looking forward to the holidays even though it will only be me and Mike for the dinner. Caleb is coming later in the evening and will be spending the night while his mommy goes shopping for Black Friday. Fun times will be had by all.
