I can’t take credit for this recipe. It is all over the internet and Pinterest. I went to Donna’s home about a year ago and she made it for me for dinner. She made a change to it from what I have seen on the internet in that she added Parmesan Cheese. How can you possibly go wrong with Parmesan? I love this recipe. It is very simple to make and low carb too.
I paired this with Broiled Asparagus with Parmesan Cheese. The two recipes went very well together. It was a perfect meal for a dreary rainy day in December.
Italian Parmesan Tilapia and Shrimp
- 5 Pieces Tilapia, frozen
- 1 8-ounce package frozen large Shrimp
- 2 sticks butter
- 3 lemons, sliced thin
- 2 packages Italian Salad Dressing Mix
- Parmesan Cheese
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a pan with high sides place butter in pan and put in oven until butter is melted. Place sliced lemons in a single layer over top of butter. Place frozen shrimp over half of lemons and Tilapia over the other half of lemons. Sprinkle the Italian Salad Dressing Mix over top of Shrimp and Tilapia. Bake in hot oven for approximately 20-30 minutes until shrimp and tilapia are done. Remove from oven and top with parmesan cheese. You can place under the broil to toast cheese on top if desired.
