I can’t take credit for this recipe. My sister, Donna made this for my grandson’s birthday party back in June and ever since then we have all been hooked on this dip. It is an item that might be a bit difficult to find. We only have 2 stores in WV where I can find it. It is worth the extra effort to find it.
Amish Wedding Red Pepper Relish
Last night I was having a Google Hangout with Samantha and Isaiah and he was sitting at the table with his sliced peppers and cucumbers eating this dip. At one point he asked for a spoon and began eating the dip all by itself. hahaha
Red Pepper Relish Dip
- 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup Amish Wedding Red Pepper Relish
Mix thoroughly and chill. Serve with fresh veggies. I prefer cucumbers and carrots. Any low carb veggie with work though.
Today is my birthday and I was pleasantly surprised this morning with a breakfast party. When I got to my mother’s home I was met at the door by my mom, sister- Donna, my sister Linda’s grandson Cayden and my grandson Caleb. Our breakfast consisted of many low carb wonderful items such as sausage, bacon, eggs, sliced tomatoes and Emerald Cocoa Roasted Almonds.
I have to say that I LOVE these almonds. They have only 3 NET carbs. Which means that they have 6 carbs but contain 3 grams of fiber so after doing the math you get 3 NET carbs. I love these and with the container it comes in they are very convenient to throw in your purse and take with you for an afternoon snack.
These are lightly dusted with Cocoa and have a light chocolate flavor. Get thee out there and find these nuts or you can find it in my store to the side. I have Donna to thank for finding these nuts for me. Thanks Donna!!

Today’s snack suggestion is egg salad.
The carbs in this depends on what all you put into it. I like hard boiled egg, real mayonnaise (not miracle whip or salad dressing), pickle relish, salt and pepper. I figure my egg salad comes to 4 carbs each serving.
Today’s Lime Coconut Dessert. This comes to 2 carbs per serving and I loved this. The recipe is in my photo album of food on Facebook. Yeah yeah yeah I am getting you to follow me over there. But this really is good!
Today’s snack suggestion are Penrose Hot Sausages. I grew up on these and loved them. I always ate them with bread though. They are not for the weak of heart because these are spicy-hot. If you think that you can handle it give these a try. No bread allowed though.
These are 1 carb but they have 1 carb of fiber so they are zero net carb.
Today’s snack suggestion is fried egg. Sometimes when I am hungry I will fry a couple of eggs. They will hold me over until I can have my next meal. Eggs are 1 carb each.
Today’s snack suggestion are almonds.
These are only 3 net carbs for 1 ounce of Almonds. They are high in protein and never spike my glucose.
